Chapter 2 - 1D Kinematics

This chapter defines and distinguishes many quantities and techniques that are well established for modeling simple motion, particulary linear or straight-line motion.

Kinematics is defined as the study of motion without considering its causes from the Greek term meaning motion. One dimensional (1D) kinematics is the study of motion that can be said to be completely in one direction.
